Jaycee Park has been a part of our community since 1961. It’s a spacious park with nearly 15 acres, providing plenty of room for various activities. The location on Wade Avenue makes it easily accessible for everyone in the area.
Daylily Garden: A Blooming Delight
One of the standout features of Jaycee Park is the Daylily Garden, which is my personal favorite. The garden is home to numerous species of daylilies and other plantings, all maintained by the Raleigh Hemerocallis Club. It’s a beautiful spot to visit, especially when the flowers are in full bloom. If you enjoy nature and flowers, this is a must-see.
A Playground for All Ages
Families will love the playground at Jaycee Park. It’s modern, family-friendly, and has swings, slides, and various play structures suitable for kids of all ages. And, so many different things to check out. We’ve got numerous baseball fields, we’ve got a dog run, we’ve got beach volleyball here, tennis courts, and we’ve got actually several people in all the beach volleyball courts playing right now. There’s so much to check out here. I definitely advise. Check it out as soon as you can!”
